The route through the five circles

Carmen’s guide describes bosses dropping the corresponding major Soulstones and a sigil changing from grey to its colour when activated. Keep the colour sequence with you; minor Soulstones are not the five-colour trigger.[1]
Position first, then deal the killing damage
- Select The Frozen Wastelands at the start of the run. Carmen distinguishes starting on this map from arriving through an Endless portal.
- Find the next circle before the relevant boss is almost dead. Move so the boss enters it.
- Finish the boss inside the matching circle and check that the sigil lights. Continue only after confirming the visible change.
- After all five light, look below the red circle for the separate green Christmas Portal, rather than automatically taking a central continuation portal.
A recent player question received advice to position before a high-damage build instantly kills the boss. The asker reported that it helped; that is one player’s feedback, not a new mechanics test.[2]
If nothing happens

The frozen skill-selection screenshot provides map context only; it does not show an activated circle or certify any step. The procedure comes from the cited written reports.
Do not copy the old Curse thresholds blindly
The guide contains old 25/34 references alongside a revised Medium/Hard section reporting 13/24. Treat those as conflicting historical text, then check the achievement requirements in your installed game. This page promises the activation route, not a current guarantee of all three achievements in one attempt. The source describes the event as permanent, while older introduction text refers to its original holiday window.[1]
